Eligio ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered interview platform for hiring teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
2. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
- Interview data — video recordings, audio tracks, and transcripts generated during calls conducted on our platform.
- Candidate data — CV files, vacancy descriptions, and AI-generated analysis results uploaded or produced within your projects.
- Usage data — log files, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the platform.
- Communications — emails you send us, feedback forms, and support requests.
3. How we use your information
- Providing and improving the platform and its features.
- Processing interview transcripts and generating AI analysis reports.
- Sending transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing receipts).
- Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Complying with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data sharing
We share data only with:
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, object storage, and database services under data processing agreements.
- AI & transcription providers — third-party services used for speech-to-text and AI analysis processing. Data is shared under their respective data processing agreements.
- Email providers — third-party transactional email delivery services.
- Legal authorities — only when required by law or court order.
5. Candidate recording & AI analysis consent
When you join an interview session as a candidate, you will be asked to provide explicit consent before entering the call. By checking the consent box, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your audio and video may be recorded for the duration of the interview session.
- Your spoken responses will be transcribed automatically using a speech-to-text provider.
- The transcript of your interview will be analysed by an AI system to assess communication patterns, language structure, and potential use of AI-generated responses.
- The resulting analysis report will be made available to the hiring team who invited you to the interview.
- You may withdraw from the session at any time by leaving the call, but recordings already captured up to that point may still be processed.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not proceed to join the call. Participation is voluntary. For questions or to request deletion of your data, contact privacy@eligio.ai.
6. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Interview recordings, transcripts, and analysis results are retained for 12 months from the date of the call unless you delete them earlier. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.

8. Security
We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, hashed passwords, and short-lived access tokens. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.
